by Arlene Thomas, TCS

small business, female-owned firm providing a
variety of language services. In the language
industry, TCS
Translations has established a reputation
for excellence and professionalism.
TCS provides
professionals who excel in the skills, abilities and
procedures of translation, in particular those
required for sensitive operations.
Arlene Thomas
founded TCS
Translations because she saw a need for a
company that would offer qualified and professional
Linguists. High turn-over, inadequate corporate
support and lack of experience working for law
enforcement and government clients plagued the
language service business. While working as a
Linguist herself, she saw an opportunity for a new
business approach to translation services, one that
offered superb Linguists who brought with them
cultural awareness in the translation process and
knowledge of client’s procedures, rules, and
regulations when working with agencies such as the
Department of Justice.
Building upon her own
experiences as a professional Linguist with Federal,
State and Local agencies, Ms. Thomas created
TCS Translations
and built an infrastructure and professional staff
that offers a wide range of translation services
tailored to each client’s specialized requirements.

a customized service approach to meeting our
client’s specialized needs.
